FAQ
- How long is this experience?
- The gameplay is 60 minutes, while the story segments are another 60 minutes, totaling roughly 120 minutes for the entire experience. Please plan your schedule accordingly when securing your booking!
- Are there any horror elements?
- There are no horror elements or jumpscares in this experience whatsoever. During the event, there may be dimming of lights in the venue and audio to invoke tension, so please keep that in mind.
- Is this an escape game?
- This is not an escape game!
In this experience, you'll be solving multiple puzzle challenges within a narrative guided by a live host and characters from HUNTER×HUNTER. Your goal is to pass the Hunter Exam within 60 minutes. For this Hunter Exam, physical strength or athletic abilities are not required, and you will be tested on your creative thinking and puzzle-solving skills.
- Do I need to know about HUNTER×HUNTER?
- You do not need to know about HUNTER×HUNTER to participate! However, fans of the series might be able to appreciate more out of it!
- Are there clothing guidelines?
- While there's no strenous physical activity, you'll need to walk and search around the game area, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes.
- Is cosplay allowed?
- Yes, cosplay is allowed, but large props and weapons are prohibited.
Also, you must abide by the venue's dress code (see here).
- Will I be grouped up with strangers?
- You will not be grouped up with strangers. There will be other groups participating in the same session as you, but you will not need to directly work together with them.
- What are the age guidelines?

Based on puzzle difficulty, the recommended age is 15 and above.
All children age 6 and up require a ticket to join. For safety reasons due to the nature of this event, all children age 5 and below will not be allowed to join.
For safety reasons, all groups must include at least one person age 18 and above.
For sessions after 10pm, guests under the age of 18 require a guardian 25 or older with them (up to 4 individuals per guardian).
- Do I need to know English to enjoy this experience?
- This experience will require both reading and listening in English at a high school level.
- Can I play multiple times?
- As the event's content is the same for every session, we ask that you don't play the game multiple times. Since you will know the answers, it may ruin the experience for other participants.
- Is there parking?
- Yes. The venue is located at Round1 at Puente Hills Mall. Please use the mall parking lot.
- Is there a cloak service?
- No. The venue and organizers cannot take responsibility for theft or loss of personal items. Please keep your valuables on your person.
- Will there be situations where this experience will be cancelled?
- In the case of an emergency such as natural disasters or extreme weather conditions, the experience may be cancelled unexpectedly. In the case that this happens, announcements regarding ticket refunds will be posted on this website.
- Can I take photos and post them online?
- Taking photos of the venue itself is allowed, however do not upload any photos or videos of the game's puzzle content, or anything that would spoil the event for others. Revealing spoilers on social media, blogs, or anywhere online is not allowed! Please do not post or share photos of the game content online as it will spoil those who are planning to participate in a future session.
IMPORTANT POINTS
About Tickets
・Your ticket is only valid for the date and time slot you booked for.
・Please arrive at the venue at least 10 mins before your session.
・You may not be allowed to enter if you arrive late.
・All groups must include at least one person age 18 or above.
・Children age 5 and below are not allowed to join due to safety reasons.
・Refunds and cancellations will not be given per request of the customer. Please check carefully
before confirming your purchase.
・Reselling or transferring tickets is prohibited.
Prohibited Items
・Weapons & Dangerous Items
No firearms or weapons are permitted at the venue.
・Food & Drink
No outside food or drink is allowed inside the venue.
During the experience, no food or drink is allowed inside the game area.
・Vehicles (excluding wheelchairs)
You are not permitted to bring the following items inside the venue: Bicycles, unicycles, kick
scooters, roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, and stand-up electric two-wheeled vehicles
(e.g., Segways or hoverboards).
・Animals (excluding service animals)
Animals or pets are not allowed in the venue.
Other Restrictions
・Overly intoxicated individuals will not be allowed into the venue.
・As you will need to walk around the game area, we ask that expecting mothers refrain from
participating.
